Quality Manager

Our NanoScience business is growing and for us to achieve our full potential we are reliant upon having an excellent Quality Management System. We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager who wants to make a real difference in their next role. We need you to work across all areas of our business, helping individuals, teams, and management to understand what day to day quality looks like and ensuring that the appropriate tools, processes, and reviews are in place for this to be achieved.

The opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the Quality Management Systems for NanoScience. This will include ensuring that the QMS contributes to and integrates with the business strategy, reporting to Senior Management on performance and effectiveness and implementing improvements where identified. This is an ongoing challenge to ensure that processes remain relevant and effective, to develop and implement KPIs, establish the audit system and maintain ISO9001:2015 (and other standards as applicable). You will also be required to lead the Quality Team, as well as engaging with the wider business to promote change and improvements, including with our suppliers. Crucially, this is not just a role about quality process, as key to your success will be your ability to work with the functions in the business and your own team to actually delivery on the diagnosis and resolution of daily problems as well as working on the quality aspects of new product implementation.

About You

To be successful in this fast-paced role it is likely that you will have membership of a recognised Quality & CI body, as well as a degree level qualification (technical or manufacturing) or the equivalent in relevant work experience. Your understanding of leading Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001, ISO13485 or TS16949 is essential, together with your proven ability to coach others towards positive quality and compliance behaviours. Your hands on, organised approach to work will be key in this role, as will your working knowledge of audit processes, implementing improvement strategies following those audits and supplier development.
