Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will work in a software development team extending and enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio. The role extends to working with a highly skilled and motivated team on developing a cutting-edge software application, helping to gather product requirements, quality testing strategy & development, support for customer queries and production support.

The Software Engineer will have:
BSc/BEng qualification in Electrical and Electronic/Software Engineering or equivalent qualification OR 3 years relevant experience
Experience gained through university or in industry using C++, C# or Java for Windows application development and object orientated design using industry standard techniques and tools

Remote working is currently in place for the team and is expected to continue at least as a hybrid model if not closer to full time working remotely. There are members of the team already aligned to Toronto, Belfast and Zurich so they have been operating as a remote team for a number of years.
