Inflammation in pregnancy; nanoparticle drug delivery in pregnancy; microbiome in pregnancy and its relationship to pregnancy disorders; placental drug disposition; placental differentiation; placental endocrinology and immunology.

Projects

Delivery of drugs to the placenta using targeted nanoparticles; use of anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics to prevent preterm birth; wnt antagonists and their role in placentation; the vaginal and amniotic microbiome in normal and abnormal pregnancies
