1. To develop and apply advanced spectroscopic techniques, including fluorescence spectroscopy, transient absorption spectroscopy, and ultrafast laser spectroscopy, to probe the ultrafast dynamics in nanomaterials and biological systems. 2. To investigate the interactions and potential applications between nanomaterials, organized assemblies, and biological systems using advanced spectroscopic techniques.
