Interests
I believe that research project is very important milestone involved in the career journey. One of the best ways to be exposed is a reliable platform, which can prove the knowledge and skills that I have personally learned. Both my schooling and college education has played a very crucial role towards shaping my path in the future. I had great faculty and facilities, which focused on fundamentals of Chemistry. This has further intensified my field in research and academics. I have also gained two years of research experience. I believe that research work will enable me to take my skills and knowledge to new levels and enable me to become a creative scientist in future. I’m hoping this decision will push me towards right path and helps me in getting proper skills set.
For two years I had worked in a project, in which Nanotechnology is employed for treating contaminated drinking water and wastewater. I have synthesized several nanoparticles and nanocomposites, identified their properties and applied in the water treatment experiments. My work has challenged me to utilise not only the theoretical aspects of chemistry and nanotechnology, but also to think critically about the results in order to make them more efficient. This work has allowed me to better understand how the future of Nanotechnology can have an impact on water treatment process and has piqued my interest in continuing my education in the field. This project has helped me to build a stronger understanding of the basics of Nanotechnology design for a variety of water treatment applications and I look forward to enhance this knowledge in the future.
I am highly drawn to this opportunity, because my background in nanotechnology research has given me a strong appreciation for research in the field that leads to innovations. I will receive advanced training in Chemistry that will allow me to become a prominent researcher in future. Through mentored research projects and the ability to design my own experiments to answer scientific questions, I will be able to improve my ability to think logically and critically about problems, then to analyse the data that I generate through my work. During this period of I want to improve both my theoretical and practical knowledge which is essential for research professional. The knowledge and skills I learned over the years are going to be fully utilized during this time.
During my research work, I hope to be able to take on novel projects that will deepen my understanding of the chemical and nanotechnological principles, which allow me to further advance the field and various implications in water treatment. Taken together, I believe my research experience will allow me to enhance my ability to contribute to novel solutions for water problem and provision of safe water to the mankind. As a fellow, I will be able to improve my current understanding of Chemistry as well as work on new research projects to improve the current set of knowledge. This opportunity will enable me to pursue my dream career in the vast field of Chemistry, through targeted coursework and participation in real-world projects.Projects
