o Green Synthesis of Polymer Materials: Polymerization and polymer modification under supercritical fluids & microwave irradiation. o Nanoscience & Nanotechnology: Synthesis of nanomaterials for applications in structural & design engineering, nanobiotechnology, antimicrobial coatings, sustained delivery, bio sensing, & electrochemical energy storage. Impact of nanomaterials on ecosystem. o Waste Management: Bacterial, fungal and enzymatic degradation of polymer materials. Wood preservation & modification. Development of technologically viable polymer materials through utilization of agricultural, animal & industrial waste. o Computational Polymer Chemistry: kinetics & thermodynamics of solid state decompositions.
